By day, Grand Lido Negril is a fun, active outdoor playground, with spirited island music, great entertainment, spectacular tennis and an endless array of watersports.
By night, the resort takes on a quiet, relaxed elegance. Dining choices abound in the three specialty restaurants.
After dinner, wind it up in the disco, or wind down in the Piano Bar, followed by a moon washed stroll along the beach.
Rooms & Suites
All suites include air-conditioning, refrigerators stocked with soda, beer, water and juice, televisions, AM/FM radios, coffee and tea, telephones, 24 hour room service, laundry and dry cleaning service, and either a patio or a balcony.

- Beach Cove Junior Suite with Jacuzzi - rooms face the clothing optional beach.
- One Bedroom Suite Beachfront with Jacuzzi (16 rooms) - includes 5 piece wrought iron dining set, extra love seat, complete entertainment console and a minibar replenished daily.
- Luxury One Bedroom Beachfront Suite - faces the main beach. Private patios with Jacuzzis.
Dining & Drinks
Breakfast and lunch are served buffet style on the main terrace, Gran Terrazza, from 8:00am to 10:30 am and 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm respectively. There are 2 sumptuous dinner buffets, 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm weekly. Wednesday boasts a Carnival/Beach Barbecue and on Friday the spectacular Grand Gala Buffet
La Pasta, the Italian restaurant, is open from 3:00 pm to 2:00 am daily. Dress casual. Cafe Lido, for Continental cuisine, is open for dinner from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm nightly except Wednesday and Friday. Dress semi-formal. Piacere, the Nouvelle cuisine restaurant, is open for dinner from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm daily except Friday. Reservations and jackets are required. Tweny-four hour room service is also included.
Club Houses: The Stone, Timber and Beach Houses offer light meals and full bar service 24 hours daily. Each Club House has a terrace area and a Jacuzzi.
Bar Service: All 9 bars are stocked with premium International and local brands of liquors. The Club House bars are open 24 hours a day.
Activities & Entertainment
- Watersports: Windsurfing, sunfish sailing, kayaks, snorkeling, underwater vision boat rides, with instruction, are included. Scuba diving; daily dives for beginners. A resort course is also included. International PADI certification is available at an additional cost.
- Landsports: Shuffleboard, vollyball, bicycles, table tennis, croquet.
- Tennis: There are 4 tennis courts, lit for night play. Tennis tournaments and lessons are arranged by resident tennis professionals.
- Beach/Pools/Jacuzzis: There are 2 pools. A main pool is located between the main beach and terrace. The other pool is located on the clothing-optional beach. There are 5 Jacuzzis. One is clothing-optional overlooking the beach, another is adjacent to the main pool and one is located at each of 3 Club Houses.
- Fitness Center: Lifecycle, Stairmaster, Nautilus, Universal equipment and free weights are located in the Fitness Center. An instructor is also available for aerobics classes and assistance with machines.
- Indoor Activities: Backgammon, cards, dominoes, pool tables, table tennis, and several board games.
- Video Theater: Open 24 hours daily, this comfortable room offers big screen satellite television and use of a VCR for viewing of your favorite movies.
- Daytime Activities: Bicycling, beach volleyball, nature walks, mixology classes, cooking classes, aerobics, reggae and soca classes are some of the varied options for guests. Activity schedules are distributed daily to keep you advised on the days' entertainment. These are subject to change.
- Library: Books, magazines, and newspapers are available for your pleasure. In addition, audio cassettes and videos may be borrowed through the Concierge/Social Directors.
- Special Activities: Afternoon tea & croquet lessons. Staff & guest talent show, Lunch time jazz, Carnival night, Grand Gala Showcase night
- Nightly Entertainment: The resident band performs nightly with well-known Jamaican entertainers. The pianist entertains in Amici, the Piano Lounge, 6:00 pm to 2:00 am. The disco, Atlantis, throbs from 10:30 pm nightly.
Weddings & Vow Renewals
Grand Lido Negril offers weddings and renewal of vows which includes the wedding cake, champagne, marriage license, non-denominational marriage officer and flowers. Witnesses are provided on request. Paperwork is handled by the couple. The resort requires three week's notice to complete the formalities. You are required to be in Jamaica 48 hours before the ceremony can be performed.
Note: There is a one-time fee of $200 for weddings, and $150 for vow renewals. An additional $150 fee applies for weddings booked within 21 days of the event.
