Travel Tips - Leaving Jamaica Arrive at the airport no later than 2 hours before your flight time. If you plan on purchasing souveniers at the airport, it's best to allow at least 3 hours. This is a great place to purchase bottles of rum and Jamaican coffee. There are also food outlets, jewelry shops and sundry stores.
