Location
Couples Negril is situated on 18 acres of tropical grounds facing the crescent shaped Bloody Bay on 1,000 feet of white sand beach, The resort is five miles from downtown Negril - a small fishing village - and fifty miles from Donald Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay (an one hour and a half drive).

Accommodations & Amenities
There are 216 exquisitely-appointed rooms, with king-size bed, a/c, satellite TV, telephone, hairdryer, bath, shower, balcony or patio overlooking the ocean, mountains or garden. There are also 18 one bedroom suites which include Jacuzzis, king-size four poster beds, and fully stocked bar.
There are five room categories available at Couples Negril.

Bar Service
The swim-up bar is open from 10 am until 6 pm. The Beach Bar from 11 am to midnight. The Terrace Bar is open from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm and from 5:30 pm until midnight. The Piano Bar opens for cocktails at 6 pm and does not close until the last couple retires.

Dining -- Breakfast

• The Terrace Restaurant offers open-air dining with a continental breakfast station for early risers beginning at 5:30 am. From 7:30 am - 10:30 am a full breakfast follows, featuring an array of tropical fresh fruits and juices, cereals, pastries, sumptuous hot dishes and made to order items.
  
  
• Breakfast in Bed -- Enjoy the privacy of a continental breakfast in bed or on your balcony between 6:30 and 10:00 am
  

• The Terrace Restaurant offers a tempting buffet of salads, local and international hot and cold dishes, pastries and cakes, in an open-air setting.

• Cassava Terrace Restaurant -- Enjoy the soft breeze in this open-air restauant as you enjoy International cuisine. You may choose either the buffet or selections off of a menu. The five-course meals from the menu include appetizers, soup, salad, entrée and dessert. Dress is "casual elegance", meaning no tennis shoes, shorts or tank tops.
  
  
• Grill Restaurant -- Feast on the flavors of the Mediterranean with a selection of grilled specialties and delicious pasta dishes
  
  
• Otaheite -- Reservations are required for this chic restaurant offering the spices, flavor and fusion of fine Jamaican and Caribbean fare. Dress is "elegant", meaning slacks, collared shirts and closed shoes for men, and dresses, skirts or pant suits for women.
  
  
• Beach Grill -- Open 11:00 am to 6:30 pm daily. Casual fare and snacks throughout the day. Indulge in the Dessert Buffet each evening beginning at 10 pm. In case you have a hunger pang at midnight, the Beach Grill offers a simple menu until 5 am
  
  
• Piano Bar -- Each evening betwen 6-7 pm, you can sample a delightful array of hot hors d'oeuvres

Activities

• Land sports include four tennis courts, table tennis, volleyball, dance classes, and golf.
  
• Water sports -- windsurfing, Hobie cat sailing, sunfish sailing, snorkeling, Scuba, water-skiing, canoeing, glass bottom boat rides, and catamarans.
  
• Indoor game room offers backgammon, cards, dominoes, board games and billiards.
  
• The air-conditioned fitness center is fully equipped with free weights, treadmills, Cybex, Life Cycle and Stairmaster equipment. Enjoy a variety of exercise classes such as step aerobics and yoga.

Beaches & Pools

• White sand beach, generally calm and crystal clear seas, runs the length of the resort (approximately 1,000 feet long and 100 feet wide). It is raked daily to cut down on the seaweed and debris.
• Clothing-optional beach is on the East side of the property. It is separated from the main beach with small hedges and trees.
• There are 2 pools -- The main pool flows into a smaller pool with a swim-up bar. There is also a dive pool where guests can learn to Scuba dive
• Jacuzzis - there are 2 Jacuzzis adjacent to the main pool

Natural Ponds
A collection of small ponds that flow into one another on the East side of the property, the water circulating in these ponds is drawn from a well on property. On the West side of the property there is a plunge pool which is the actual exposed water table, water is pumped out of this pond and sent to a lily pond on the water's edge where the wedding gazebo is located.

Medical Facilities
Just in case of minor injuries, there is a qualified nurse who can attend to minor illness, cuts, etc. A limited supply of medical items is also available. There is no charge for this service. Should guests require the service of a doctor, this must be paid at the time of the visit.
