Now it's time to head to your airport, board your plane, and head to Jamaica! Make sure you have your passport with you and your tickets. It's always the pits when you have to go back home to get them, and take the risk of missing your flight!

Once you land in Montego Bay, exit your flight into the terminal. Go the the upper level, and follow the hall until you get to the Arrivals Hall. This is where you'll go through Immigration. Make certain to have your Immigration form completed. You'll get these from the flight attendants on your plane.

Once past immigration, take the stairs at either end of the hall. The left set is closer to the luggage carousels and Customs inspection. Go down the stairs and if you have checked luggage, you can retrieve it from one of the carousels there. When you have your luggage, proceed to the customs inspection desks that are located beyond the stairs that you descended. (The inspection desks between the stairways are reserved for returning Jamaican passengers.) . Look to the left at the signs overhead that say "Nothing to Declare". Go through those lines, they ARE the fastest.

Normally you'll have no problem in Customs. However, if you're bringing a musical instrument, make certain you let them know it is for personal use, and you have no plans to sell it.

Once you're done in Customs, go through the double doors to the left. This is the Transportation Hall. Porters will be everywhere, and will attempt to take your bags. You will not need them for the short walk to the SuperClubs check-in counter. However, if you do use one, tip them $1.00 per bag.

The SuperClubs desk will direct you to the bus, which transfers you to the resort. If you use a porter, then you should tip $1.00 per bag. (Porters are not included in your package.) The bus trip will take anywhere from one and one-half to two hours. They usually stop about halfway for drinks and souvenirs.

RESORT CHECK-IN
After you arrive at the resort, you will check in. This normally takes about 15-20 minutes. If several people are checking in before you, you can always leave your bags and get a drink at the bar while you wait. The main bar is located just outside the lobby. The desk clerks will issue you a room key card and a new lock to insert into the in-room security safe. They‘ll also offer an activity schedule. If they don’t offer the schedule, make certain to ask for one. The porters will take your bags directly to your room. You should follow them so you can take your bags inside. These porters are included in your vacation package, and do not require tips.

FUN STUFF
At lunch each day, various friendly contests are held as icebreakers. These include wet T-shirt contests, dance contests, relays and more. Participants win Hedo Bucks which can be exchanged for various prizes like shirts, liquor and playing cards. If you’re shy or easily embarrassed, you may want to watch the contests, rather than participate.

The pajama/lingerie party is held at 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday nights in the disco. "Bare as you Dare" is the theme. You will not be allowed to enter the disco if you do not wear some sort of lingerie or pajamas. Prizes are given for the Most Virginal, Sexiest, Barest, and Most Original. In the past, women have worn long T-shirts, g-strings, body paint, bondage wear, feathers, Christmas lights, saran wrap and chain mail. Men have worn boxers, t-backs, briefs, union suits, Christmas lights, Scuba masks, novelty underwear and leather. If you don’t care about winning a prize or dressing up, just make certain you wear something consider as pajamas, or at least just wear your underwear.

The toga party is held on Thursday nights. Everyone is required to wear a toga to dinner -- No Sheet, No Eat. Keep in mind that you may not wear underwear with your toga. The Entertainment Staff will teach you how to tie your toga on Thursday afternoon in the dining room. A sheet will be left on your bed when your room is cleaned. However, you may bring a pre-made toga from home. You may also bring accessories, such as belts, headwear, or jewelry. Prizes will be given for Most Original, Sexiest, etc. At the end of the evening, after the talent show, usually around 10:30, is the toga contest and Conga parade.

CHECKOUT
The night before you are scheduled to depart, the desk will slip a notice under your door. It will tell you what time to place your bags outside the door, and the checkout procedures. Airport policies require that you arrive at the airport between 2 ½ to 3 hours before your flight. Combine this with a 1 ½ hour bus ride, and you’ll need to allow plenty of time to catch your flight.

Checkout time is Noon; if your flight departs in the late afternoon, you can checkout of your room, leave your bags with the porters in the lobby, and enjoy the facilities until time to catch your transfer bus.
