What exactly is the Jamaica Rock n' Blues Jam?
It's unique sessions of live entertainment. Musicians and
vocalists get together onstage and perform unrehearsed, live music for the resort
audience.
How do the Jams work?
Before each jam, you'll have the opportunity to sign up for the session. We'll
ask for your name, where you're from, and what instrument you play. You'll be
invite join in the fun! The Jams are usually held in the main dining room during
& after lunch each day.
Do I have to bring my guitar, bass, drums, etc?
Of course not! We provide the instruments, cords, amps and PA system. All
you need to bring is yourself!
How do I know you will know my tunes?
We have been playing for many, many years, and know just about
every rock and blues tune out there. However, if you want to play something
obscure or have an original tune, you can either email the name of the song or
a chart ahead of time, or bring a CD down to the
resort. We will make certain they can perform whatever you wish.
What if I'm just a fan?
The Jamaica Rock 'n' Blues Jam is for everyone. If you don't play an
instrument or sing, just sit back and enjoy the music, or dance a few steps
away from the bands. It's your vacation, and you can enjoy it any way you like!
